People say that art is, for the most part, a labor of love, and an artist will never recieve the compensation he deserves in comparison to the amount of time spent creating the piece. I disagree. My time is fully compensated by the amount of satisfaction I recieve by having the freedom to make something beautiful. If youve been to prison you know all to well what it feels like to be trapped behind walls, and barbed wire. There is no oppertunity for creativity, and that is a travesty.
